I use Chrome/Chromium as my primary browser on both my desktop and netbook(both are Ubuntu 10.04). It runs very well and I've had practically zero issues that aren't Flash related. One advantage of Chrome/ium is that you can use the built in task manager to kill Flash if it starts acting up, something that used to be practically impossible in Firefox.
It also reads your GTK settings to correctly place the window controls and colors the browser so it feels GTK native even with the custom window management and widgets.
